Sometimes people have different moods and problems they are dealing with. Sometimes they might say something unkind or act in a certain way, but it often more about their own feelings and not about you. Even when some people say unkind things you can stand strong and know that those words don’t define who you are! Kids can learn to separate others actions and words from their own self-worth and feelings. This helps them develop a healthier more resilient approach to social interactions and their own emotional responses.
