Movement Studio Classes

Movement classes at Restorative Sports Therapy uses the four pillars of restoring strength in movement philosophy as the foundation for how we program. Yoga classes help with realigning the tissues along the lines of stress while the strength classes help restore balance and a strong foundation upon which movement is based on. Our movement classes are taught by our clinicians so you will get a very anatomical approach and learn the why to what we teach.

What type of studio is at Restorative?

We are not a yoga studio - we are a Movement Studio - therefore you will experience a very open environment to explore movement, ask questions and get curious with your own movement capacity.  Your Practitioner will prescribe specific regimens of postures, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and fundamental strength movements to suit individual needs.  Apart from improving your posture and mobility, this is ideal for helping treat and prevent repetitive strain injuries, neck and low back pain.

Our strength classes are designed to help you build a strong foundation from which to move from. We are all about getting back to the basics - encouraging you to be a student of your body so you can learn what works for you and what doesn’t. Our goal is to get you confident with movements so any integration into community or online programming after you see us is successful.

Our classes are limited to 10 people so we can cultivate connection and so you feel like you still get some individual attention and feedback from our clinical instructors.
